What’s often considered to be one of the biggest fashion nights of the year, the Met Gala is always sure to have some head turners. Celebrity Makeup Artist Tina Turnbow worked with Amanda Peet for the 2014 Met Gala tonight for Avon. “Amanda is wearing a beautiful lace dress from Marc Jacobs that was our inspiration for her makeup,” Turnbow said. “It’s a mysterious and sexy look that still has a femininity to it.” Below is Tina’s “get the look” for Amanda: Face: “I started by moisturizing the entire face to create smooth even skin. Steal the Look: Reese Witherspoon at International Women’s Day

Steal the Look: Reese Witherspoon at International Women’s Day

My girl crush on Reese Witherspoon is longstanding and un-erringly fierce — and in this picture just sent from her  appearance at an an event in honor of International Women’s Day, she looks as beautiful as always. Her makeup was done by mark makeup artist Mai Quynh using products from both Avon and mark. As we remember from her wide-eyed adorability in Legally Blonde (the original more than the second, by then I was a bit over the franchise) the focus was on Reese’s eyes, which layered a shimmering gold shadow over a soft blend of neutral-colored shadows. You’ll also notice Mai used a dark eyeshadow as liner and a few swipes of black mascara on lashes. For the finishing touches, Mai applied a soft rose cream blush on Reese’s cheeks and a...
