Yes, you can fall in love with a car (and still be girlie)
For some reason unbeknownst to me, this always felt somewhat antithetical.
I’d go on press trips now and then that were vehicle-centric, and marvel at the demographics. Beauty may be an estrogen fest, but tech and cars? It’s all boys, all the time. That alone was reason to be into the pursuit of journalism.
But as I (albeit very slowly, I confess) started to actually understand a bit of what I was learning, I realized there’s a whole lot out there for even the least auto-comprehending of ladies to appreciate about cars.
And, yes, I’m toeing the line of a stereotype I shudder to adhere to, but sometimes issues like adorable colors and trunk space means a heck of a lot to me.
