Yes, you can fall in love with a car (and still be girlie)

With Bryce Gruber — indeed, we make an adorable pair — but the Cadillac ELR looks mighty fetching beside us!

For some reason unbeknownst to me, this always felt somewhat antithetical.

I’d go on press trips now and then that were vehicle-centric, and marvel at the demographics. Beauty may be an estrogen fest, but tech and cars? It’s all boys, all the time. That alone was reason to be into the pursuit of journalism.

But as I (albeit very slowly, I confess) started to actually understand a bit of what I was learning, I realized there’s a whole lot out there for even the least auto-comprehending of ladies to appreciate about cars.

And, yes, I’m toeing the line of a stereotype I shudder to adhere to, but sometimes issues like adorable colors and trunk space means a heck of a lot to me.

Check out my new article for SheKnows — a guide to our absolute favorite cars (from a girl’s perspective!)!

And while we are at it, behold THIS adorableness – yesterday, Cadillac hosted a small group of editors in Montauk for the day to introduce us to the ELR, Cadillac’s extended range electric luxury coupe, which will be spending weekends in the Hamptons as part a partnership with The Montauk Beach House.

Yesterday was the launch and every Saturday through Labor Day weekend, Cadillac will be the exclusive automotive sponsor of Sound Waves @ the House, a seven-week celebration of fashion and music at the boutique hotel.  Live performances from internationally recognized artists and emerging talent from the music industry will be featured each Saturday. ll events in the series are complimentary and by invitation-only. To find out more about Sound Waves @ the House, presented by Cadillac, visit www.facebook/MBHSummerMusicSeries. If you are in the area, you should totally try to check it out!

Always had a few various auto crushes, Cadillac was one of those. Loved your cute dresses. MBH Summer Music Series sounds fun.
