Father’s Day gift ideas: My final list for you last-minute shoppers!

Truth be told, my father gets (and wants) the same gift every Father’s Day — an Outback or Longhorn gift card, followed by chocolates from his favorite chocolate spot — Callie’s Chocolate Kitchen in the Pocoonos, PA.

Sometimes tried and true does work best, and if there’s something your dad craves, get it for him! But if you are looking for some fun, new ideas, here’s some gifts I came across for you last-minute Father’s Day planners:

Sincerely’s Ink Cards are adorable — they let you mail super personalized greeting cards that make drugstore cards look dreary and dull…all from your mobile phone or tablet! Plus they include a wallet-sized photo card that fits perfectly into dad’s wallet. Plus, they gave me a special promo code for my readers, which is good for 20 Sincerely Credits( not cards)!

The gift of health

Maybe your dad is looking to get healthier and more zen, there’s NOTHING better than a yoga practice for that! Gaiam – my personal fave for all my own gear and DVDs, has launched a line of yoga clothing and kits specifically designed for men. These would make great gifts for dads looking to get more active, or to expand their current workout routines.Men’s clothing and  Men’s kits options are delineated throughout the site, so I’m sure you can find an option that fits your budget!

Gadgets, gadgets and more gadgets

What better way to show your dad your love and appreciate than to get him something that is both retro and chic? Remember, our dads were the original hipsters. From Lomography, check out the awesome Belair X 6-12 City Slicker ($249). This medium format camera is sleek, smooth, and it can shoot in three different sizes! The automatic light meter ensures that all of your photographs turn our perfectly!

Beautiful from within (and outside, duh)

I’m obsessed with this izola men’s grooming dopp kit from redenvelope.com($89). Perfect for the guy on the go – or the one who loves to camp it up this summer, it includes sustainable bamboo toothbrush set with nylon bristles, collapsible cup and 6 oz. triple milled vegetable-based soap in a sturdy 20 oz. 100% cotton canvas!

For the Dad who needs to stay connected, try the
myCharge Freedom Power Case for iPhone 5. It is a protective charging case with one-piece construction and patented tethered lightning connector leaving the bottom of your iPhone 5 completely unobstructed while it charges your phone completely. (mycharge.com; $79.99).

A great shave

While he’s upgrading his staples, this Proraso Shaving Cream is a must.  It’s a concentrated super-creamy soap that is created with Eucalyptus oil to purify and tone skin while Menthol refreshes and revitalizes.  $10 at C.O. Bigelow andwww.bigelowchemists.com.

Every man of every age loves his gadgets — check out the HMDX JAM Plus, a first to market Bluetooth speaker that can be paired
with another JAM Plus for true stereo sound ($59.99 per). The expanded HMDX JAM Collection features five products, each available in an array of bright colors, with prices ranging from $24.99 to $119.99 (hmdxaudio.com; $59.99 per).

I feel pretty, oh so pretty!

But besides looking and feeling and sounding good, an amazing smile is paramount. Check out the new Pearl Brilliant White Ionic Teeth Whitening System ($195), an at-home whitening system that uses ionic technology combined with a specially formulated ionic whitening gel for fast whitening results with virtually no sensitivity to the teeth. The Pearl device not only looks super cool, but its unique design allows Dad to be hands-free and multi-tasking while whitening. Pearl Brilliant White Ionic Whitening System is available for $195 (includes the device and 20 gel tubes for full treatment) at http://ionicpearl.com/.

My ears!!!

Audio-Technicas new ATH-WS55i over-ear and ATH-CKS55i in-ear Solid Bass headphones ($119.95 and $79.95) is perfect for the dad who travels and needs quality ear candy. It allows impactful bass along with accurate midrange and highs, for those who want to hear hard rock, hip-hop, electronica and other bass-driven music the way it was meant to be heard. Both feature an integrated mic and in-line three-button remote for iPhone TM, iPad and iPod that lets wearers control volume and music playback functions. The remote also lets iPhone users answer calls over the headphones, or while talking via Skype or VoIP on an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.
