This just in: Cheese is GOOD for our health
As I mentioned yesterday, I may be headed to Wisconsin in a few weeks to visit the CHEESE TRAIL.
Crazy, I know.
But, you are I’M SURE with me in understanding and appreciating the power of cheese. It’s delicious, it’s full of calcium…and, get this, apparently it can reduce the risk of getting Type 2 diabetes!
The Telegraph reports that eating cheese cuts your risk of getting Type 2 diabetes by 12%. Now, remember, cheese is super high in saturated fat which may kill you before diabetes has a chance to, but the scientists in this study believe that the type of fat found in cheese can actually have a GOOD SIDE.
The findings were published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, and well, I couldn’t be happier.
