Sponsored Post: Fiber Choice 30-Day Get Picky Challenge Update
For the past few weeks, I’ve been taking the Fiber Choice 30-Day Get Picky Challenge.
I’m in the final week or so, and I’m really feeling good about it.
The sad truth is, I’ve always been really bad about getting the right nutrients in my diet. There’s days I’m traveling and eat a lot of crap – bread, fast food, caffeine. I’m not thinking about vitamins and minerals, I’m thinking about not being hungry as I run around. It’s why I gain weight, and it’s why I’m sick or run down very often.
The recommended daily intake of fiber is 25 to 30 grams, and I’m guaranteeing you I wasn’t getting that much prior to starting this challenge. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if I wasn’t getting half this amount.
Part of the plan was to choose our Fiber Choice product for the month — I chose the strawberry-flavored weight management chewables – and use it throughout the month to share how we’re feeling, how it fits into our lifestyle, etc. Fiber is a beautiful thing in that it simply makes us feel fuller — so that we are less likely to eat random crap or past the point of actual hunger. This was an especially important hypothesis to prove when traveling so much this month. It was so easy to be bad — and, trust me, I was — but would this help to keep me going? It seems to have, maybe, indeed.
Of course, the point of this challenge was also to lose weight, and thus far — I haven’t. But perhaps that I have been on the road these last three weeks and not gained weight is a start? I still have some time to go in the challenge and I hope to be able to share more tangible results! I will say I feel better though and may just have more “get up and go” in my day – and that is success in its own right!
This is a sponsored post for Fiber Choice, however all opinions expressed are my own.
