Celebrate Day of the Dead With My Cranberry Basil Margarita
I’m not big on Halloween these days — or trick or treaters. But I find Day of the Dead a lot more interesting.
This year leave the goblins and ghosts behind. Forget about the infused candy corn vodka. I’ve taken it up a notch and partnered with Casa Noble Tequila to celebrate Day of the Dead with a homegrown cocktail.
This holiday is a time in Mexico to connect with the past, remember those who were near and Toast!
And…I’m all about toasting.
For Dia de los Muertos, I’ve created the following special twist on the traditional margarita, The Cranberry Basil Margarita!
- 1 shot Casa Noble Tequila
- 1 teaspoon fresh basil
- half of cup of cranberry juice
- ice cubes
It’s so delicious we were drinking these all last night as we ignored the trick or treaters!
