Giveaway: Come hang with me in Nashville this fall!
Once upon a time (OK, about five years ago) — I was on a press trip to Macao and made some incredibly dear friends.
Those friends are the brains and beauty behind KEEN Digital Summit, set in one of my favorite cities — Nashville — and a great place to hone those networking skills, reconnect with friends and colleagues, and maybe buy some amazing boots while you are there.
(The boots have nothing to do with the conference, but SERIOUSLY, get involved.)
The inaugural summit will be taking place in Nashville in late October, and is geared toward digital entrepreneurs of many types and flavors who hope to maximize their online presence through a fun agenda of panels, Q&As and more. Unlike other networky tech conferences, KEEN focuses on the business side of the web, from brand ambassador opportunities to influencer programs to innovative ways to approach native advertising. And their speakers—from BuzzFeed to Southern Living to HGTV—are all super respected and will likely have valuable intel to impart upon you.
On top of hearing top agency and industry experts talk about topics such as targeted ads and email marketing, breaking news – ME – that’d be me, (as in me, myself and I) will be on a panel about Social for Good: Crowdsourcing for a Cause. Because lets face it – we can use whatever influence we may have out there for good, and I’m sure many of us have had experiences raising awareness online for philanthropic endeavors. And I personally hope to have more!
Some other panels and discussions among the four targeted tracks—Travel & Lifestyles, Food & Spirits, Family & Entertainment, and Technology—include the following: PR & Writers: Make Your Magazine Pitch Heard; Watch Your Back: Preventing Brand Thievery; Breaking In the Entertainment World (via your online presence); Social Media Ethics + What Agencies Seek in Influencers; Is Pinterest the Right Marketing Model for You?; How to Get Attention for your Products; Millennial Marketing; Using Kickstarter to Launch Your Company; and much, much more.
But it’s not all work and no play. This is Nashville we’re talking about, after all.
From singer-songwriter night—yes, just like on the ABC show Nashville—to a full-on block party, KEEN’s nighttime parties and other after-hour events are guaranteed to be top-notch. (You’re aware that some of the best business relationships blossom over cocktails, correct?)
I am giving away two pairs of all-access KEEN passes (so two winners plus a friend for each) for the October conference. And if you don’t win, you can still take advantage of my friends and family deal and get a KEEN pass for $100 off the rack rate (making the conference ticket just $199) through Sept. 15 with the promo code ALYROCKS.
(Yes, that code rocks. Just use it for that reason alone -but also to come hang out with me. And also to have some of the BEST FOOD IN THE WORLD. Seriously, check out this article I wrote for SheKnows about Nashville after my visit last fall — I can’t wait to go back.)
To enter to be one of my two winners of a pair of tickets, make sure you are following me on Twitter at @AlyWalansky and RT this giveaway — then comment below (or in a tweet!) and tell me why YOU need to win these passes. Good luck!! Deadline to enter is September 25.
