Attention NYC Area: I’m Speaking at NYU This Saturday!

wicFor anyone in the New York area (or those who feel like a fun winter weekend road trip!), take note: I’ll be speaking at NYU this weekend, and I’d love if you’d stop by.

New York Women in Communications Foundation will host the 2014 Student Career Conference this Saturday, November 22, 2014 at the NYU’s Kimmel Center in New York City. The conference is for students and young professionals seeking advice and tips about pursuing a career in the rapidly evolving communications industry. The full day event will include networking opportunities, informative panel discussions, essential career advice, and incomparable access to the industry’s leading experts.  Apparently they think that includes ME (I’m faklempt!) – because I’ll be speaking about building your personal brand during the afternoon portion of the conference.

The event will address the swiftly changing disciplines and unfolding opportunities in the communications industry including broadcast and radio, digital content, public relations, advertising, marketing, entertainment, fashion, beauty, food and beverage, social media, entrepreneurship and secrets to a successful job search.

Check out more info below. I hope to see you there!
