Steal the Look: Becky G at the 2014 American Music Awards

Becky G RCFor anyone watching the American Music Awards tonight, you couldn’t miss Becky G’s look,  inspired by her recent Can’t Stop Dancin’ music video.

Steal the look created by Becky’s makeup artist Tonya with these steps below!

Tonya made Becky’s skin glow with COVERGIRL’s truBLEND Liquid Makeup. “Both Becky and I are obsessed with this water based foundation, not only does it give you natural, seamless coverage, it is also oil free, so no need to worry about it clogging your pores,” says Tonya.  She then brightened up Becky’s under eye area using COVERGIRL truBLEND Fixstick Concealer. Finally, she used COVERGIRL’s truBLEND Loose Powder Bronzer by lightly buffing the bronzer using a powder brush along Becky’s temples, cheek bones, and jawline.

Tonya used the new COVERGIRL Full Lash Bloom by LashBlast Premium Eye Shadow Quads in Notice Me Nudes, Brewer says, “Becky loves a classic eye with clean lines and these Quads are my new go-to!” Noting, “They are so on trend and they have a simple 4 step application process.” Once the shadows were applied Tonya added a thick black winged out liner using the NEW COVERGIRL Bombshell Pow-der Brow + Liner. The makeup artist calls this product a “must have” and says, “The liner glides on smooth and effortlessly, so you get the perfect clean line every time.”

To complement Becky’s nude eye look, Tonya created a soft fan of voluminous lashes using the new COVERGIRL Full Lash Bloom by LashBlast Mascara. Brewer says, “The more you use this mascara, the more you will love it!” Brewer adds, “Full Lash Bloom left Becky’s lashes voluminous and touchably soft throughout the evening, we were able to apply the mascara throughout the night without her lashes flaking.”

The last step in creating Becky’s look was adding the bold lip.  “I used the new COVERGIRL Colorlicious Lipstick in Enchantress Blush to add a bright pop of pink. Then I added new COVERGIRL Lip Lava in Look it’s Lava!” She says, “This gloss has just the right amount of shine, so not only did it look amazing on stage but it photographed beautifully on Becky.”
