Eucerin Healthy Skin Challenge: My Healthy Skin Prescription!

The latest chapter of Eucerin’s Healthy Skin Challenge has been a very exciting one – I had the opportunity to have a consultation with  Eucerin Skin First Council Member Dr. Rosemarie Ingleton. She was amazing – addressed a lot of the concerns I have about my own skin and its issues, and gave me guidance on the best course of action for me in the months to follow.

Check out the regime that Dr. Ingleton tailored for my needs:

Eucerin Daily Protection Moisturizing Face Lotion (with SPF 30!) — The idea here is to moisturize and protect at the same time – and obviously I need a moisturizer that includes SPF. The sun loves me!

Eucerin Sensitive Skin Redness Relief Soothing Night Creme – This is a gel-cream, and has licochalcone, which soothes and relieves dry skin — perfect for the redness patches on my Rosacea-prone skin.

Eucerin Sensitive Skin Redness Relief Daily Perfecting Lotion (with SPF 15) – This is also a great tool to combat my issues with redness and irritation, and also has licochalcone in it. (Little known fact: Licochalcone comes from licorice root!!!) – another neat component is its green color neutralizers, that works to mask redness and even out complexion, something I’m all about.

Eucerin Daily Protection Moisturizing Body Lotion (with SPF 15) – Lets face it, most of us do not remember to put sun protection on our body before leaving the house if we’re not headed to the pool. This body lotion has it already inside for us – meaning we don’t have to remember, but it’s taken care of anyway. I’m guessing my skin will be way happier with me if I do a little less burning of it this summer!

Eucerin Sensitive Skin Redness Relief Soothing Cleanser – I’m already using this cleanser, and it’s great – it’s super hard to find a cleanser that can help symptoms related to my Rosacea without causing breakouts, and this has. I’m already noticing decreased redness in my cheeks, and with none of drying/tightening issues I’ve had to deal with in the past!

So, that’s my new regime! Will keep you posted on how it goes – super excited!

Whether you have a worrisome mole, breakout issues, or just dry, dreary skin — or are completely thrilled with your skin – having a great dermatologist is super important. Skin cancer is no laughing matter, and there’s tons of other potential skin issues to keep an eye on!

In case you want to have a “Digital Derm” on the ready, take a sec to check out the Eucerin Facebook page – and get all your questions answered. (And remember, there’s never a question not worth asking!)
