Bodacious Bargain Alert: Qupid Knee High Boots

My favorite brown suede boots may possibly still be sitting somewhere in Santiago, Chile.

How does one do this, you may ask? How can a reasonably intelligent girl go on a summer sojourn to beautiful South America and return without her boots?

Well, in my defense, it was a wine tour and I’m a dedicated journalist.

Whatever my sick, sad rationalization, it is now fall, and I’m down a pair of boots – with no excess funds to replace them. And, so, I’ve been browsing for the answer -could it be the Qupid Knee High Boots ($43)?

No, they aren’t exactly a sexy new pair of Frye’s – but those will come when people remember to pay me in an orderly fashion – however, they are so great a price that I can feel fully justified buying them for the just-for-now in-between stage of life I’ve found myself in, and they are super cute – check out the buckle details at the top. I can totally take them to Scotland and wear them with knee high socks and a cute little skirt. And, if I drink too much scotch and leave them behind — always a distinct possibility – I won’t have to have a hysterical fit over the lost boots AND lost fundage. It’s brilliant. Even when I’m not.
