OPI Creates Sandy Hook Green Nail Polish to Support Newtown School
The Sandy Hook shootings were a few months ago, now, and still haunt our nation — and especially the many parents who lost children that day. OPI created a limited-edition shade, Sandy Hook Green, to support Sandy Hook Promise, a non-profit organization created by members of Newtown, CT community in response to the Sandy Hook Elementary School shootings. Two Newtown mothers came up with the idea for the nail polish after painting their nails green at a local salon to help cope after the tragedy. OPI donated 10,000 bottles of the green nail polish to Sandy Hook Promise. True story: I MISPLACED MY RAIN COAT. Yes.
